firstly it is v= u+at

in the figure

it is given that

OA=u

BC=v

OC=t

DC=BC-OD

BC-OD= v-u

a=v-u/t

at=v-u

DC=at

DC=BC-OD

at=v-u

v=u+at

.................hence derived.
