Derviation of pi ?and area of circle?

\pi
is the value which is derived from the ratio of
 \frac{circumference}{diameter}

2) We know that area of sector

 = \frac{ theta}{360} \times \pi \: {r}^{2}

Here , Theta = angle formed at the centre of the circle.

Now ,

We know that A circle is a complete 360*.

Therefore, THETA = 360

NOW,

theta/ 360 × pi ×r^2

=> 360 / 360 × pi × r^2

=> pi × r ^2 .........( HENCE PROVED )
