Differentiate between manures and fertilizers .

Manures:-
1. Manures are natural substances obtained by decomposition of plants and animals.
2. They are rich in humus.
3. They are not nutrient specific.
4. Manure is prepared in fields and farmyards.
5. They are absorbed slowly by the plants because they are not easily soluble in water.
6. Manure does not cause pollution.

Fertilizer:-
1. It is a chemical substance prepared in a laboratory.
2. They are rich in plant nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium.
3. They are nutrient specific​.
4. Fertilizer are prepared in factories.
5. Being soluble in water it is readily absorbed by the plants.
6. Fertilizers cause water and soil pollution.

                @ They are made in Factories
                @ They increase the production
                @ They are harmful as they made soil infertile 

Manures- @ They are Organic Substances  made from animal and plant 
                      waste 
                @ They are made in fields 
                @ They add humus to the soil 
                @ They are not harmful to soil.
