The grand daughter of this story is just like any small kid, jovial and helpful. At first she acted very naive when she was asked to be taught by her grand mother. Later, she realised the importance of her plea. She was a very good and dedicated teacher who fulfilled a great task of teaching her grand mother the Kannada alphabet at such an old age. She was literate and thus, knew the respect and importance of education in one's life. She was also humble enough to accept her grand mother's gift as guru dakshina. However, as and when she regretted not being sent to school, she made sure that her grandchildren studied well. sudha was the only grand daughter of krishtakka she was a loving and caring grand daughter of krishtakka. she used to tell the Kannada novel of treveni which would appear in the weekly magazine of karmavera. she taught her kannada alphabets as a caring teacher and taught her grand mother how to read and write
