Describe a harrowing overnight bus journey you had please

One cold night in November I was travelling from Karachi to Peshawar in a local bus, The cold wind was blowing against my face as I climbed the bus and paid for my seat. When the bus was full and we started our journey soon I realized that i was the only girl in the bus. It really frightened me. For it was my first time travelling alone in any local bus at night time by my own. I felt frightened and my heart beat increased its pace because it felt so insecure to be among strange unknown men at the mid-night and that too for a long journey of 27 hours.There were 12 terminals on our way. The bus used to stop at every terminal for 15 minutes.On the entire way I was reciting verses and praying. Soon when we reached Kohat terminal a girl came and seated beside me. Only than my heart was at peace and I took a deep breath of releif.
