Describe a simple experimental to show that sound cannot propagates through vacuum.

Just put a small cell phone in a glass tumbler of sufficient size and dial up on the phone while sucking out the air. You will observe that the sound slowly fades. If all the air is sucked out of the tumbler then there would be no sound. this shows that sound can't propagate through vacuum.
