Flank - The side of a volcano.

Lava - Molten rock that erupts from a volcano that solidifies as it cools.

Crater - Mouth of a volcano - surrounds a volcanic vent.

Conduit - An underground passage magma travels through.

Throat - Entrance of a volcano. The part of the conduit that ejects lava and volcanic ash.

Explanation:

When pressure builds up inside the core and temperature increases the magma from the magma chamber inside the earth, comes up ( fast or slow depending on intensity ) through the main pipe and out of the crater. Magma when out to air or out of the volcano is called lava.
