There are some abnormal behaviour of nitrogen and for this reason nitrogen is quite different from others in the family & those abnormal behaviours are
1.It has small size than other atoms
2. It has high electronegativety
3. Its ionisation power or energy is high
4. In valence shell there are no availability of d orbital
5. It has a capacity to form (Pπ-Pπ) multiple bonds
