Archaebacteria are prokaryotes that lack peptidologycan and have DNA segments similar to those found in Eukaryotic cells( introns). They have unusual lipids in their cell membranes. They can be found in extreme environments - although their is evidence that they may occur in less severe conditions.

There are special group of organism, these microbes are prokaryotic and usually lack in membrane bound organelles.
