From reading the Diary Of A Young Girl we can conclude that Anne did not like Mrs. Van Daan as she always judged Anne and compared her to others in the annexe. Anne used to be fed up by Mrs. Van Daan comparing her to Anne's sister Margie or with her son Peter. Mrs. Van Daan always thought that Anne should have been brought up in their house and in doing so, ridiculed the Frank Household's way of bringing up their children. Anne always used to write about the way Mrs. Van Daan behaved and ridiculed it. She thought that Mrs. Van Daan was too self-centred and too proud. From this we can conclude that the relationship between Anne Frank and Mrs. Van Daan was very bad.
