Describe an activity to show that the colours of white light splitted by a glass prism can be recombined top get white light by another identical glass-prism. Also draw ray diagram to show the recombination of the spectrum of white light.

if an identical prism is placed in an inverted position with respect to the first prism and all the colours of the spectrum is allowed to pass through the second prism,the colours recombine to give white light. This was 1st observed by Isaac Newton

GOOD AFTERNOON DEAR FRIEND

When a Glass Prism is used to obtain spectrum of sunlight, a second identical prism in an inverted position is kept with respect to first prism.

The Inverted second prism will allow all colours of the spectrum to recombine.

Thus a Beam of light will emerge from other side of the second prism.
