To show that the lead of a pencil conducts electricity but a piece of sulphur does not:::
A sharpened pencil is taken . Both the ends of pencil are connected to an electric circuit. Circuit was formed by connecting a bulb to the cell. When the pencil is connected , the bulb will glow. Thus, lead of a pencil conducts electricity. Lead contains graphite and it is a good conductor of electricity.
When the sulphur is connected to the circuit , the bulb will stop glowing . Hence , sulphur is a non conductor of electricity.
