I recently taught a two year old how to recite the letters of the alphabet for the first time. It was quite an experience – both interesting and challenging. We were traveling by car when it suddenly started raining. As a result, the journey was bound to take longer than expected. It was then that I taught him how to recite the alphabets for the first time. I would say an alphabet and ask him to repeat it. We went on like this for quite some time. Sometimes, he would try to say on his own and miss out on certain alphabets. Then, the repeat session would start all over again. Finally, by the time we reached our destination, he got the order right! Needless to say, I felt a sense of achievement.
