Soak few seeds of moong in water for about a day.

\textbf{Step 2}:

Cut out two big holes from the bottom of the cup or container.

\textbf{Step 3}:

Add soil to it about 1cm.

\textbf{Step 4}:

Sprinkle the soaked seeds over the soil and water the seeds.

\textbf{Step 5}:

Put the container or cup on wood slabs.

\textbf{Step 6}:

Cover the part of the set up with a dark coloured paper.

\textbf{Step 7}:

Water the seeds regularly.

\textbf{Step 8}:

Observe the setup. You will observe that the roots came out from the holes and is growing towards the Earth showing geotropism.
