An experiment to showing temperature remain same during phase change  is as follows:

  • Take solid wax in a test tube and keep it in a hot bath.
  • Measure the temperature of wax in test tube using a thermometer. at first the temperature will rise and reaches 50 degree celcius.
  • Measure the temperature in every minute and the temperature will remain same that is 50 degree Celcius.
  • At end, it shows that the temperature remains constant and the wax is also melted by absorbing heat.

Hence, it shows temperature remains constant while substance changes from solid to liquid.
