Hiiiii friend here is the answer.........

materials required: destarched plant, wide mouthed bottle, splitcork, potassium hydroxide solution........

procedure: take a wide mouthed transparent bottle. pour potassium hydroxide solution in the bottle. insert splitted cork in the mouth of the bottle. insert one of the leaf of destarched plant into a transparent bottle containing potassium hydroxide solution. after few hours, test the insert leaf and another leaf of the same plant for presence of starch......

observation: we observe that the part exposed to the sun light and atmospheric air became bluish- bkack and the one side bottle containing potassium hydroxide which absorbs carbon dioxide in the bottle remained colourless........

conclusion: by this activity we can conclude that the leaves which exposed to sunlight used sunlight and carbon dioxide but the leaf which is inside used sunlight but not used carbon dioxide.... so co2 is necessary for photosynthesis..........

hopes it helps you mark it as brainliest..........
