materials required : glue stick , glue gun and electricity.

procedure : switch on the glue gun and take a glue stick and put it in the glue gun.melt the glue stick with the glue gun. then stretch the glue stick.

observation: we can prove that solids expands on heating and contracts on cooling

inference: it is due to the stretchability of the glue stick
