Describe an experiment to show that we can get electrical energy by using a magnet
Answers
Answer:
An electric current produces magnetism, and a magnet can produce an electric current. The two forces are so closely connected that scientists talk about the single force of electromagnetism. Without it, we would not have an electricity supply, or ELECTRIC MOTORS.Each electron is surrounded by a force called an electric field. When an electron moves, it creates a second field—a magnetic field. When electrons are made to flow in a current through a conductor, such as a piece of metal or a coil of wire, the conductor becomes a temporary magnet—an electromagnet
Answer:
Take a hollow cylindrical pipe of iron rod and wind a large number of turns of well insulated copper wire on it. Clean the two ends of wire and add a torch bulb/LED to it. Now,take a strong bar magnet and move it rapidly towards the centre of the pipe without touching it.
The bulb will glow. However,It glows only for a while and stop glowing as soon as magnet is stopped.
