The incident is described below-
It was the day of my examination at my university and I had to reach there by 11 00 am. I got out of my house at 9 00 am which was enough time to reach there. But midway through the road, the car suddenly stopped and I noticed that it was a traffic jam ahead of me.
Thinking that it would be cleared within 5 minutes, I sat back reading my textbook. But it was almost past thirty minutes that we were all stuck in the same position. It made me worried as I had my exam. We came to know that there was an accident at the junction road where a truck hit a bus and it was a chaotic situation there.
With every passing minute, I was becoming more anxious and hoping that the road gets cleared. There were honking and frustrating sighs all around. Everyone was getting late for their work. It was hot and humid outside and the sun was shining strong. The car air conditioner was not working.
It was almost 10 20 am when the cars started moving in front. I was already late and I was tense that I won't be allowed and I would miss my examination.
Finally, when I reached my examination center, I was 20 minutes late. It was 11 20 am. I requested them to consider the situation as I was stuck in unfortunate chaos which I did not have control of. After enough persuasion. I was allowed and I had to complete my paper within the remaining time. I did face a shortage of time but I won't complain because I was thankful that I did not miss my examination.
