Solubility: The maximum amount of solute that can be dissolved in a given amount of solvent.

A solute dissolves in solvent, when the solute molecule interacts with the particles of solvent breaks up into smaller components and dissolve.

What is meant by increasing solubility?
Increasing solubility means ,that more solute can be dissolved in the fixed volume of solvent.

How can we increase the solubility?

# Solubility can be increased by increasing the temperature.

Solubility can be increased by increasing pressure.

How does increasing pressure or temperature, increase solubility?

When you increase temperature or pressure ,kinetic energy of solute particle increases, which interacts with solvent particles and break, but here since kinetic energy is more the particles breaks to very very small size, which allows space for more particle to dissolve in the same volume of solvent.

Heat the solution
On heating, the solution expands, thus intermolecular space increases and thus more sugar molecules can dissolve in water
