2). it is divided into two branches Arabian sea & Bay of bengal.
3). the arabian sea branch reaches mumbai around 10th of june.
4). By the mid of june arabian sea branches arives over sahayadris & the central part of country.
5). the bay of bengal branch advancing toward southwest & mawashynram in the southren ranges of the khasi hills recieve the highest average rainfall in the world.
