Heya !

=> Blood is a vital component of our body. It is a connective tissue that circulates in our body. About 45% of a drop of blood consists of blood cells. These cells are of two types - the red blood cells and the white blood cells. The red blood cells are disc-shaped and contain a respiratory pigment called hemoglobin, which transports oxygen from lungs to the other blood cells. The white blood cells fight diseases. There are different types of white blood cells that attack bacteria, produce chemicals to stop viral infections, gather at a wound site to " eat up bacteria and germs" that try to enter the body, etc. The ratio of white blood cells to red blood cells is 1 : 500.
