APJ Abdul Kalam is a great personality though he was Muslim he had a Hindu and and a Christian friend. They always kept discussing about social issues and kept finding solutions for them since their childhood.

Kalam had three close friends in his childhood. They were Ramanadha sastry, Aravindam and Sivaprakasan. all these boys were from orthodox Hindu Brahmin families. Ramanadha sastry took over the priesthood of the Rameswaram temple from his father.
