The three powers of state legislature can be as follows: a.) Making laws on state-level b.) Making the budget of the state c.) The state legislative assembly votes for election of President of India.
EXPLANATION:
Unlike United States which has a federal arrangement of government, India has a quasi-federall structure of government in which there are some matters in which center cannot intervene in state affairs and when centre can intervene in state matter. Still, constitution of India has given states of India some powers which can only be exercised by state legislature.
The state can make laws that can be applied to people living in state. The state is free to make its budget plan and to make its policies. The constitution has also given state legislature the power to elect President of India. These are some of the powers of state.
