Cultural blending akbar empire:
- Akbar reigned over a time when the nation was a mix of Muslims and Hindus. He won the minds of Hindus though that made him a subject of criticism to Muslims.
- He believed to maintain unity between the Hindus and Muslims to rule the empire under him. He withdrew taxed imposed on Non-hindus which had cut a substantial income of the empire.
- But due to this, many Hindus loved him and accepted him as their emperor terming him Akbar the great. Along with it he appointed Hindus in many administrative and judiciary positions.
- He even made his own religion Din-i-illahi which means ‘Religion of God’ taking the sole concepts blending Islam and Hinduistic principles.
