A cyclotron is a type of particle accelerator invented by Ernest O. Lawrence in 1934 in which charged particles accelerate outwards from the centre along a spiral path.

A galvanometer is a type of ammeter. It is an instrument for detecting and measuring electric current. It is an analog electromechanical transducer that produces a rotary deflection, through a limited arc, in response to electric current flowing through its coil.

cyclotron

It is a machine that accelerates charged particles or ions to high energies. These particles are held to a spiral trajectory by a static magnetic field and accelerated by a rapidly varying electric field.

GALVANOMETER

An instrument used for detecting the existence of small electric currents and determining their strength is known as galvanometer.
