Answer: in plan a, the dad uses the ladder to reach to tree top, but is unsuccessful as he falls down. In plan b dad swings himself on a branch which snaps which resulted him landing on the deck. Lastly, in plan c dad climbs his way up and does not fall this time but he sits on the crook of the tree , but lands on the poor cat making the cat jump. Unfortunately for dad he was stuck there!
