Foetal ejection reflexes are the mild uterine contractions generated by the placenta when the foetus is fully developed at the time of parturition. Parturition is a neuro-endocrine mechanism, and is initiated by the signals from the developed foetus and the placenta , which produce the foetal ejection reflex.
