When Premchandji tried to hint Ganguthat he was not the child's father, Gangu gave a hearty laugh. He told Premchandji that this question never bothered him. He was aware of Gomti's past when he married her. Thus the child was a God's gift to him. This proved that Gangu was an embodiment of goodness.
