Gulliver refers to the Lilliputians as insignificant corrupt politicians. The tiny race of Lilliputians represent the petty and small minded aspects of the English and humankind in general. They are pompous, self important, self serving, hypocritical and dangerous in spite of their small size. The Lilliputians are physically and morally smaller than Gulliver. Lilliput and Blefuscu are two fictional island nations. There is a rivalry between the two kingdoms.
