Chuck Hooper was going strong before he met with an accident. He was highly competitive but had a cheerful countenance. He was quite tall and had represented his university football team during his college days. Later, Hooper worked as a zone sales manager for a chemical company. He was married to a woman named Marcy and everything was going in his favour.
