Describe how a millimeter-scale and two set squares can be used to measure the diameter of a marble.
Solution:
We can measure the diameter of a marble by a millimeter-scale and two set square.
To measure the diameter of marble we have to follow steps as following;
- Firstly, we have to set the two set-squares to correctly mark the diameter of the marble.
- Secondly, set squares are measured against ruler.
- Then we have to repeat above steps and find the average or mean diameter OR we have to measure 2 or more marbles in a line to get accurate value.
