U can make an electromagnet in laboratory by using a soft iron core with a wire wound around it to make it a solenoid and pass current through it. As any current carrying conductor induces a magnetic field around it, the soft iron core gets magnetised ......

HOPE THIS HELPED U !!!

Answer:

Use a pair of wire strippers to remove a few centimeters of insulation from each end of the wire. Neatly wrap the wire around the nail. The more wireyou wrap around the nail, the stronger your electromagnet will be. Makecertain that you leave enough of the wire unwound so that you canattach the battery.
