The first triumph of civil disobedience started from Champaran due to the efforts of Gandhiji. Britishers were capturing the lands of the peasants which was very fertile and suitable for farming. He tried to convince British officials so that they improve the economic conditions of the peasants. After a strong rebellion, the British accepted the request of Gandhiji which was the first triumph of civil disobedience.
