Crystallization is the process by which we can obtain crystals of copper sulphate. In this process, a few drops of dilute sulphuric acid is added to water. The water is then boiled & as it starts boiling, copper sulphate powder is added with stirring. The powder must be added on till the solution becomes saturated.

if you place the blue Crystals in a taste tube and heat with a Bunsen Burners or other source of heat, it will effloresce (release the water of crystallization) and turn into a white amorphous powder.... the solution of copper sulphate is a nice blue due to the coordination of water molecules to the copper (2+) ion.
