Describe how oxygen is transported from lungs into body tissues and carbon dioxide is transported from tissues to lungs in respiration.

Answer:

In lungs during inhalation there's high partial pressure of oxygen and lower partial pressure of Co2 which leads to diffusion of oxygen into Rbcs and Co2 diffuses out of the Rbcs

while in tissue there's lower partial partial pressure of Oxygen which leads to diffusion of oxygen out of Rbcs.

Hemoglobin is contained in red blood cells, which efficiently carries oxygen from the lungs to the tissues of the body. Hemoglobin also helps in the transportation of carbon dioxide and hydrogen ions back to the lungs.
