Describe how solid ammonium chloride can be separated from a solid mixture of ammonia chloride and anhydrous calcium chloride

Ammonium chloride is SUBLIMABLE in nature which means it directly transforms from solid to vapour (gaseous) state without becoming liquid.

Thus SUBLIMATION technique can be used.

The mixture must be heated with an inverted funnel whose top is blocked with cotton.
