It is Collected from Ruskin’s  Short Stories and narrate in the third person by an unknown narrator and after reading the story, it is realized that Bond was exploring a sensation of fear.

Although Mr. Oliver was not fearful to walk through the pine forest, his encounter with the young boy left him afraid as the boy looks not the same as  Mr. Oliver has seen before. This is important,  as Bond appears to create perception.
