For the peasants, Swaraj meant the abolition of begar, reduction in revenues or taxes and the social boycott of the highly exploitative landlords.

B) Tribal:

For tribal , Swaraj meant the removal of all the barrier which were imposed on the use of forests by the colonial govt.

C) Plantation workers

For plantation workers , Swaraj meant the the right to move in and out of a confined space in which they were enclosed thus maintaining a link with the village they had come from.
