There is no enactment that correctly acts corresponding xenophobia in South Africa. Section 9 of the Constitution declares that "Everyone is just before the authority and has the freedom to equal security and interest of the law", but the language is not aimed at inhabitants of international origin, rather putting them under the Bumbershoot of "everyone".
These incorporate Section 9 of the Constitution which ensures the right to equality and prohibits illegal prejudice and Section 10 which supports and defends the freedom to dignity. "Violation of the power to dignity may point to prosecution under a general law crime of crimen injuria.
