Pistil- the central part of flower is the female part called pistil.

  • The lower most swollen part of pistil is ovary.
  • the ovary continues to a long tube called style.
  • the style ends in a knob like part called stigma.
  • Ovary contains tiny bead like structures called ovules.

Stamen- the male reproductive part of the flower.

  • each stamen consists of a thin stalk called filament.
  • And two lobed head things called anther.
