Basic Steps to create a query in MS Access design view

Explanation:

We can create a select query by working in Design view as below:  

• Choose the tables or queries which you want to use as data sources.
• Specify the fields from the data sources which you want to use.
• Optionally specify criteria to restrain the records returned by the query.
• After a select query has been generated you run it to see the results. In Datasheet view, you open it to run a select query.

If the query is saved you can reuse it whenever you need it.
