Some plants eat insects these are known as insectivores plants or carnivores plants..they get nutrients from the insects which they can’t get from soil and because of this they only absorb water from the soil.. different types of insectivores plants used different ways to trap insects...
for example pitcher plant :- they attract insects with their sweet nectar on the edge of the pitcher.this plants have hair like structures present in their flowers which tightly holds the insects from climbing out..later on the insects nutrients are absorbed by enzymes (that brokes the insects slowly)present in them...hope helps if u like Mark as brainlist ans....
