King Lear was a man of stubborn nature . He wanted that everyone should love him and live according to him.He had three daughters named goneril , Regan and Cordelia . His youngest and most favourite daughter was Cordelia.

He did not understand the real love of Cordelia and was moved by the flattering words of goneril and Regan.Through this we presume that he loved flattering words.In the end he understood the real love of Cordelia for him and died in sorrow of her daughter's death
