ANSWER:-

Satyajit Ray went to meet the Maharaja and told him that he was there to shoot his Bengali film. After hearing this the Maharaja looked disappointed. He took the vacant seat next to Rays'. It was one of the many dull and unpleasant looking sofas which lined the four walls of the Maharaja's sitting room. There were fluorescent tubes near the four corners of the ceiling and around half a dozen of paintings of the calendar variety hung from various positions on the wall. Also there was a Kashmiri table with a brass top which was placed in the center of the room. For Ray it was hard to believe that he was sitting next to the Maharaja of Jaisalmer.
