there are four main forms of power sharing.

  1. horizontal power sharing ( division of power among judiciary, legislature and executive)
  2. vertical power sharing ( division of power at different levels i.e. among central , state and local government.)
  3. community government ( sharing of power between different communities)
  4. pressure groups , movements and political parties.
