Describe microscopic structure of cell.

cell is look like the cork resembled the structure of honeycomb consisting of many little compartments. cork is a substance which is obtained from the bark tree.

Cell is the structural & functional unit of living organism & is the basic unit of life. 
The term "cell" is derived from latin word meaning hollow space,was given by a english scientist,Robert Hooke who in 1665 observedthin slices of cork under his crude compound microscope.Though he obsreved the cells from microscope so, it is called microscopic.He obsreved that the cork was composed of box like compartments, forming a honeycomb structure and he named the compartments as cells.This is the microscopic structure of a cell. 
Cell organelles are the important living parts of the cell found embedded in the cytoplasm.These are smaller in size & bounded by plasma membrane
