NEWTON'S THIRD LAW states that

" Every action ,there is an equal and opposite reaction."

For examples:

A horse pulls a cart ,a person walks on the ground, hammer pushes a nail,magnets attract paper clip.In all these examples a force exerted on one object and that force is exerted by another object.

It states that action and reaction are always equal and opposite. How much force that we exert is action and this applied force is also come back opposite to us that is reaction. It's magnitude is always equal
