Answers
Possible answers:
A. Talk with them, try learning them some new words, do some fun games; like a simplified ‘scrabble’. Talking helps a lot, if they don’t understand a word, explain it.
B. Draw, paint, craft with them! Let them make a nice drawing, painting, or help them making something that combines multiple things.
C. Talking! Talking is very important. If you have a friend with you, you can hold a conversation with them. If your toddler interrupts you should explain to them that you shouldn’t interrupt when someone is speaking, it’s rude.
D. You can again use drawings and other things for this. Draw the imaginary castle where the princess lives, etc.
E. You can help them by firstly getting them to sort of understand the clock. It is now twelve ‘o clock and in 15 minutes it will be a quarter past twelve. You can also use a television. Your favourite kids TV show comes at 12, and it’s currently 11:30. Tell them, try to explain this, and they’ll understand they have to stop their current activity at that time to watch the show.
