Visualize an equilateral triangle.
Now, the X axis represents the Real Part while the Y axis represents the imaginary part. I am talking about the Argand plane.
Thereon, let the vertices be A, B and C.
If you put A and B on X axis. then C will be below or above the axis. this means that there are cases where the sum of Imaginary parts is non zero.
Eliminate option 1.
Similarly, in option 2, sum imaginary parts must be zero.
So eliminate2.
Now, Place the triangle with its base BC on the X axis such that it is in 1st quad.
Then sum of Real parts is positive and non zero.
Eliminate option 3.
You are left with option 4
